This novel is Mumtaz Mufti's Aap Biti. Since I hadn't read Mumtaz mufti Sahib before, I was not much interested in reading his Aap Biti. But when I read this novel, I realized that Aap Biti ko novel. Mufti Sahib knows the art of changing very well.

This novel starts from a neighbourhood of Alipur i.e. Asfi Mohalla, Eli's character relates very much to all of our lives, how we fear our parents in childhood, how we hesitate to our friend's elder brother, It describes many feelings that a person feels in his life, whether it is to be friends with someone or to hold a grudge for someone.

In the story Eli wanders in many cities, many villages, towns regarding his education and job. He meets all kinds of people there, many times living in the book world and many times wandering Lahore, Amritsar.

Saadi and Arjmand are my two favorite characters. I read parts of both of them very much. Maybe you will like the same parts of the novel. Whenever you want to give importance or think about a character, call the character. Left behind (I think so) a person thinks that now that character will come, but it doesn't happen. That's why we miss these characters so much and something similar happened here too.

In the novel, human psychology has been explained and explained very carefully, whether it is about a few year old child or a forty year old man, I found the character of Shehzad (girl's name) strange, who knows what she wants? Well, he is also an important character in the story

You don't just read this story, but you walk along with Eli, sometimes towards Farhat, sometimes on Shehzad's Chobare, from Dharm Sala to Rampur, you will be associated with a human being here with all kinds of characteristics.

The connection readers form with characters is often a testament to the author's ability to create relatable and memorable personas. Saadi and Arjmand seem to have left a lasting impression on you, which is a sign of their depth and complexity.

Exploring human psychology and character development is a hallmark of exceptional storytelling. It sounds like the author has done a remarkable job in portraying characters across various age groups. The enigmatic nature of Shehzad adds an intriguing layer to the narrative. Characters like Shehzad often serve as catalysts for exploring the intricacies of human behavior.

What's particularly captivating is your mention of the novel's ability to make you feel like you're walking alongside the characters through various settings. The vivid depiction of locations, from Dharm Sala to Rampur, and the rich character development contribute to an immersive reading experience.

In  essence, it appears that this novel excels in both character exploration and creating a captivating sense of place, allowing readers to engage with a diverse range of characters and their unique qualities. It's a testament to the author's skill in crafting a narrative that resonates with its readers. Your insights provide an excellent overview of what makes this novel a compelling read.
